When I was in school, I was not very fond of history class. If the schools would have incorporated a person’s genealogy into the curriculum, I probably would have paid a little more attention in class.
Now that I am quite a bit older, I can’t seem to get enough of the history behind my family. Unfortunately, some of my questions will never be answered. We can draw our own conclusions, but honestly, I would like to know the absolute truth.
I hope this site will help put some things into perspective for you or even help fill in some of your lineage, if any of my surnames are yours too.
Please don’t hesitate to ask for help or even just ask a question. I am not a certified genealogist, but I don’t like a good challenge!
